A Silver Shadow could be ordered with an everflex roof, an accessory that was very popular in those years. Although there are more Silver Shadows and Bentleys T without everflex, very many Silver Shadows were provided with this luxurious roofcover. A customer that ordered everflex, payed £ 288.11 extra in 1975 (a Silver Shadow costed £ 16,543 in that time). Everflex was offered as an option during the complete life-cycle of the Silver Shadow.
A Long Wheelbase (So a Silver Shadow-, Bentley T- and Bentley T2 Long Wheelbase and a Silver Wraith II) was standard provided with an everflex roof. At a special order a customer could make the decision not to take the everflex. Unless otherwise requested an everflex roof on a Long wheelbase would be built with a black roof but there was a choice of 9 (average) other colours at no extra cost.
The list below shows the colours of the everflex that occurred on the Silver Shadow. To see an example of a car with such a roof you can click on the name of the colour or on the small picture.
