About the colours
of the Silver Shadow

General story about the colours of the Silver Shadow. What were the colours the customer could choose between and at what cost?

Two-tone exterior colours

The Silver Shadow and Bentley T have often been delivered in a so-called two-tone colour scheme, a scheme with a combination of two different paint colours. Here you find what kind of colour schemes were used and some examples of cars in those colour schemes.

Colours of the upholstery

This page deals with the leather on the lower dashboard, the doors, the inner panels, the carpets and the headlining.

Parkertex and cloth upholstery

Some customers didn't like leather upholstery. These customers could specify other types of upholstery, like Parkertex Savoy, velours or cloth.

Colours of the top-roll

The top-roll or upper side of the dashboard had to be specified separately. This page shows how that could work out.

Leather upholstery, carpets, the wheel, the top-roll, the headlining, etc. The customer could order a colour for every single detail.
