Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II
1979, SRK37486, dark green
This page is about the Silver Shadow II from 1979 with the
chassis-number SRK37486.

The car is fitted with a
vinyl-covered roof and therefore looks like a
Silver Wraith II. But that is only on the
surface:

The real identity is
confirmed by the big rear window:

Watch the twin exhaust that
is fitted on every Silver Shadow II.
And also this Rolls-Royce
has a splendid front:

In this left front door is
visible that the chauffeur has switches available
for operating all four windows.

In the dashboard you can
find this AM/FM-radio. A complete explanation of
the dashboard can be found on the pages of the dashboard.

The papers of the car
contain an owner's handbook (above) and the
invoice (below). On the invoice you can see that
the car costed $69.900 and has been extended with
three accessories: an Everflex vinyl-covered roof
to the amount of $1.645, several features in
leather to the amount of $400 and a right side
remote controlled mirror to the amount of $231.
The total price was $72.176.

The American cars from the
mid-years 70 were provided with a petrol tank
that was not mounted UNDER but IN the (boot of
the) car. The filling gap was not fitted anymore
in the right rear body but in the left C-style.

In this boot is shown
clockwise from left below: the tool-locker, the
lid of that locker, the papers and two borders of
the registration-plates.
